“I Am The Group Foundation, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to brightening the lives of those experiencing homelessness in the beautiful state of Florida. Our mission is to provide unwavering support to Unaccompanied Youth aged 18-25.
At the heart of our story is Mrs. Damaris (Dammy) Sanchez, our Director, who has been a shining beacon of hope for the homeless community since 2009. It all began with a simple act of kindness – Dammy started cooking at home and sharing hot meals with 120 homeless individuals in the heart of Downtown Miami every week for an entire year.
In 2014, our journey expanded to the Tampa Bay area, where Mrs. Sanchez continued her incredible work through the Grace Family Church’s Soup Kitchen.
And in 2017, with a heart full of hope and a deep desire to make a lasting difference, Mrs. Dammy founded I AM The Group Foundation, Inc. Our purpose is not only to provide assistance but to offer the precious gifts of hope, valuable skills, and the necessary tools to help these individuals regain their footing and reintegrate into society. We firmly believe that together, we can all grow and thrive.
